| The
North Carolina Bandmasters Association Eastern District is a division
of the North Carolina Bandmasters Association. The North Carolina
Bandmasters Association is the official Band section of the North
Carolina Music Educators Association. The NCBA Eastern District's
region includes those areas from Interstate 95 to the coast. The NCBA
Eastern District works to advance the cause and development of school
band programs in Eastern North Carolina. In cooperation with the North
Carolina Music Educators Association, this organization plans
and operates numerous activities including band clinics, band festivals,
band director workshops, forums, and demonstrations. Membership into
the organization is granted to any individual actively engaged in
directing bands or teaching wind or percussion instrumental music
in Eastern North Carolina schools, and who is a member of the North
Carolina Music Educators Association. Each
member of the organization must pay a $10.00 annual membership fee.
Only active members, and their students, are eligible to participate
in events sponsored by the NCBA Eastern District. |
