Active membership shall be granted to any individual in the Eastern
District actively engaged in directing bands or teaching wind and
percussion instrumental music and is a member of the North Carolina
Music Educators Association.
Each member of the organization must pay the $10.00 annual membership
fee before he is eligible to receive any of the information from
the district or have children participate in any district events.
The deadline for membership for the
2007-2008 school year is September 15. After this deadline, the
dues will be $20.00.
In order for
students to participate in any district event, such as All-District
Auditions, Contest, or Solo and Ensemble Festival, the director
must be a paid member by the registration deadline for
that particular event. |
